Strike A pose!

In as much as it is fun to write this in tagalog, I'd use english so I can reach out to other possible readers and share some laughs about this blog not about the TV show Project Runway or America's Next top model but this is something that I noticed not only with me but about others in particular.

Being on a picture printed or not has to be done with good taste so that when it is time to post it on FB or Twitter, it will make others take the second look because it is eye-catching. I can't blame everyone including myself to really project and show off what you got---strike a pose (even if it is the same in all your pics), face a certain angle that you find yourself slimmer, not slouching, good lighting, chin up, regularly wear  Audrey Hepburn sunglasses and so on and so forth. It just cracks me up when I see some of my friends in FB project the way they do over and over and over because this way, they make themselves look good on the picture. It is not by accident that we pose the way we do on the picture---WE rehearse them! Of course I include myself because I am also guilty of this, but I just noticed, the more I rehearse the worse I look on the picture. So, I tried to be spontaneous and I am happy with the results lately. True enough that people like taking pictures of themselves, so am I. It makes us feel good about ourselves and if we get good feedbacks about the picture with your hands on your hips, or a sunglass, a fake boob cleavage (amen!--but I try not to wear much padding coz I look like I just had mine done), or a good shadow that covers imperfection but the angle of the shot of your face and body looked gorgeous just makes us view ourselves like the candidates of America's next top model or Project runway. I like the feeling, don't get me wrong. I implore though my dear readers that we reinvent ourselves and try different poses and try to be more au naturalle without too much caked up foundation that doesn't even match your skin color or wear a lipstick that doesn't match your skin tone because I for one, was even told by a friend that I look better in person than on a picture with make-ups on. Some girls are lucky to have such gorgeous faces without any make-ups, I wish I have that kind of face but, I don't! LOL I don't put a funeral themed make-ups though!LOL

Again, this is but a product of my observations, realization about myself and other people and not meant to offend anyone but just to share a laugh and views about something that just came up after I have uploaded some pictures of myself online then seeing my friends pictures recently posted as well. Just want to take all these out of my brain.
