Security Breach

So I started my morning yesterday with a phone call from an alarm company telling me that there was a security breach in the master's bedroom at my friend's house in Barstow. Well, it had me worried but not to a point I go up there to check it out. A friend helped to check and he was so kind to drop by and check if the main door was opened. There was a fast beeping though which indicated that the alarm was triggered by something. That was settled when our roommate assured me that all was locked and everything was fine, not to mention he will be gone for the weekend (Which I am suspecting he will be attending the Gay Pride Parade here in SD! :P) that is just comforting. I just couldn't afford to experience being robbed anymore in the same town over and over. I just don't trust people coming in and out of the house that I don't personally know. Aren't there any other houses to rob but ours? Geesh! Anyway, my insurance company did not renew my renter's insurance since I have been reporting robbery, damages etc. that made it risky for them to provide me one..Talk about being too much of a risk providing renter's insurance in Barstow.

I am just glad I am downsizing my properties I own there since  Barstow will just be the place I work and eventually the place I used to work at in a few years time (as soon as recession ends!) I mean, I love my workplace, some people I work with and most especially teaching the students of Barstow. I am proud of the students who believed in me and my instruction. I realized that I have gotten past providing my students the security they need in terms of taking charge of their future and continuously provide them with that security despite my tough love treatment. I am confident to say that they are assured that any breach of their attempt to promote chaos in my class, sarcasm, raised eyebrows or restraints is totally worth it for them to become more mature everyday they deal with me.
